RotaCare NY

RotaCare facilitates a free health center run entirely by volunteers to provide primary care and medication to uninsured and financially qualified individuals

The health center, located in Uniondale, has a rotating team of approximately 100 physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, translators and administrative personnel who donate their time and talents to provide vital health care for 1,800 patients each year.

Board member Joanne was recently recognized by the Girl Scouts of Nassau County with a Changemaker Certificate for her mentorship helping Girl Scouts achieve their Gold Award.

Her daughter Kristen was also honored with the Courage, Confidence, and Character Certificate.
