The Student Health and Counseling Center (SHACC) at Hofstra has a policy of only three free individual counseling sessions for students. Each session after that is $30. For many students, they cannot pay, and fee waivers can be difficult to obtain. This page is for all concerned stakeholders (students, alumni, parents, groups) to tell Hofstra to change this policy and make counseling more financially available to all students. Reduce the price or give more sessions!
