✨ Don’t Shoot the Messenger ✨

There comes a moment in every healing journey when something clicks – not in your mind, but in your body. A settling. A softening. A peaceful place. It’s the moment you realize: you no longer need to prove your worth.

If someone stirs up irritation, judgment, or fear, instead of reacting outward, pause and look inward. Ask yourself, “What part of me is feeling unseen or unloved right now?” “What part of me is trying to still earn love or prove my worth?”

In that moment of self-inquiry, the focus shifts. You no longer try to change or fix the other person. You begin to listen to what your soul is truly asking from you. This is where real healing begins.

That Inner Critic? It’s Just a Messenger.

You know that voice. The one that says, “You should’ve done better,” or “They don’t respect you.” The one that feeds self-doubt and pushes you into over-explaining or people-pleasing.

But here’s the thing: don’t shoot the messenger.

That voice isn’t the enemy. It’s just revealing the parts of you that haven’t yet felt safe, secure, or fully embraced. And when someone outside you reflects that same judgment or energy? It’s just another opportunity to meet yourself with compassion.

True healing is the art of extending love – not just to the easy parts, but especially to the difficult ones. Not just to those who praise you, but also to those who challenge you. Because life is always nudging you back to your wholeness. And every person you meet is helping you do that – whether knowingly or unconsciously.
