Belen Gomez, RN, BSN
Belen Gomez is a Registered Nurse, BSN, with over a decade of diverse clinical experience caring for patients across a wide range of acuity levels. She spent four years on a medical-surgical floor providing care for post-surgical and medical patients, followed by ten years in the Intensive Care Unit, where she developed advanced critical-thinking skills and the ability to rapidly recognize and manage life-threatening conditions.
Belen has extensive experience managing complex therapies and technologies, including IABP, Impella, ECMO, CRRT, and therapeutic hypothermia. She is also trained to respond to and lead rapid response situations throughout the hospital and is highly skilled in caring for post-neurosurgical, stroke, cardiovascular, and critically ill medical-surgical patients. Belen currently splits her time between the hospital and Elevate Medical Group; Belen is always improving upon her nursing skills and enjoys educating patients on how they can improve their health and she is an integral part of Elevates clinical team.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Cum Laude, from Nevada State College and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Known for her strong communication skills, compassionate approach, and teamwork, Belen is dedicated to providing safe, high-quality patient care.
Outside of nursing, she enjoys cooking authentic Mexican cuisine, staying active with CrossFit and Peloton workouts, and spending time outdoors with her family and dogs.
