I specialize in women's strength training, nutrition education, and mindset coaching. I review each client's health history and fitness level to ensure that their workout is tailored to their capabilities. Client Success Story!!

This is Angela. She’s a mother of 2, has a very demanding job where she has to travel and network, yet she’s managed to get amazing results.

What’s even more amazing is HOW she got the results.

She didn’t have to starve herself or kill herself in the gym!

What DID she do?

- She prioritized WALKING DAILY, hitting a minimum of 10K steps.
- She prioritized walking in the evening after dinner.
- She TRACKED HER FOOD…even when she went to Disneyland & a Disney cruise!!!!
- She tracked her food on week long work trips that had her in 3 cities in 5 days.
- She brought high protein snacks with her ALWAYS but especially on various all day work trips.
- She prioritized protein, never eating under 120grams but usually eating more.
- She didn’t aim for some perfect macro spread and instead her calories varied from between 1450-1650.
- She weight trained consistently 2 days per week and doing a 3rd when she could but even that wasn’t always done.
- She aimed to incorporate HIIT, but even that only averaged 2 days a month!
- She’s NOT an alcohol drinker

And, while the pictures speak for themselves, what I love most is her smile in both of them.

I love that she looks so happy at both sizes.

She didn’t beat herself up over how she looked or her weight and she simply realized that she wasn’t prioritizing herself at all.

You DON’T HAVE TO BE PERFECT but you DO HAVE TO BE CONSISTENT!

Taking care of our bodies is a life long journey.

And it can be something you enjoy, when you LEARN to stop judging and beating yourself up.

Make THAT a priority.

Then…

…KEEP IT SIMPLE.

…PRIORITIZE YOU.

…AND TALK KINDLY TO YOURSELF, DAILY!

Time to train!

I train not just for my body but for mental health.

I don’t train for weight loss or fat loss.

Sure, I want to optimize body composition.

And that’s a product of taking care of me.

Training will only be sustainable if it’s something you enjoy and not a punishment!

I think with nutrition, we make it harder than it should be.

And when things feel overwhelming, we do the very things we are trying to avoid.

There is no perfect diet and that’s why I like guidelines:

1) include at least 1 palm size of protein at each meal
2) eat 3 meals + optional post workout smoothie
3) eat minimally processed food with no added sugar
4) 3-5 servings of veg a day
5) 1-2 servings of fruit a day

When I have a breakfast like this, I’ll include veg & fruit with lunch and dinner.

Training days, have an extra post workout smoothie with fruit.

Non training days, aim for 3-4 meals with no snacks and have 4 palms of protein spread however you want in your day.

I help my clients make BETTER choices.

Eat high quality real food (exception, high quality *complete* protein powder).

Focus on EATING THE RAINBOW.

Eat slowly and chew your food.

This starts with a shopping list and a plan.

BIG salads are awesome for lunch. Easy to make with minimal cleanup.

Instead of store bought croutons, add some crunch with the gluten free wasa crackers. Got them at Sprouts.

I’m also adding Trader Joe’s pre-made organic chicken and the TJ’s Green Goddess dressing, and a whole bag of romaine lettuce. 👍👍
