This past Friday, for National Assisted Living Week, we honored our amazing staff for the love, care, and dedication they pour into our residents! We are truly grateful for every one of them! They played a costume relay against the residents, had a nice lunch thanks to our friend Kurt, and held an appreciation ceremony! National Assisted Living 2025 over and out! 🩵

Meet our Executive Director, Christy Brown! Christy was born in Corpus Christi Texas, and raised in Carthage, Texas. She has been married for 29 years to her soulmate, Jerry and they have three sons. In her spare time, Christy enjoys the farm life and spending time with her chickens, horses, and longhorns. As well as working on her vegetable and flower gardens. She celebrated her 26th year here at Brookdale Henderson on March 1st. She was asked what she likes most about working at Brookdale Henderson, her answer was, "The residents". She loves each and every one of them and has learned so much from them!

Today, in honor of Assisted Living Week, we took the time to remember what 9/11 is about. Joe led the 9/11 ceremony, and it was an amazing one! We wore red, white, and blue! We also want to say happy birthday to Ami & Destiny! 💙
