Henderson Hospital’s Director of Quality, Krystal Coffman, DNP, was honored as the Hero of the Game at the Henderson Silver Knights game on April 11. This honor is sponsored by the Nevada Donor Network (NDN) and Krystal was nominated for her years of work with NDN and her service to saving lives through donation.

Krystal has been a part of the Valley Health System (VHS) for over 13 years, starting at Spring Valley Hospital in the fall of 2012 as the Neurology Nurse Practitioner. At that time, she also served on the NDN Advisory Council. Krystal worked to create the VHS Donor Council in conjunction with all of the VHS facilities and NDN. That council is still active today and Krystal still serves as the chair.

Krystal has been at Henderson Hospital in the role of the Quality Director for over 3 years now and still works to save lives in the face of tragedy through organ, tissue and ocular donation.

Henderson Hospital's own Marlene Lee was interviewed by FOX5 Las Vegas and Telemundo at the Spring Job Fair held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event drew more than 6,000 job seekers and 130 employers, including The Valley Health System.

It was an exciting day connecting with the community and sharing career opportunities across The Valley Health System. We’re grateful to be part of such a well‑attended event!
