Happy Retirement, Dr. Goldstein!
After an incredible 43 years of medical practice—more than 32 of those right here in Henderson—our beloved ENT physician, Dr. Richard Goldstein, will see his final patients in the office this coming Tuesday.
This week, members of the Maria Parham Health medical staff and OR team gathered to celebrate both the season and Dr. Goldstein, honoring a career defined by compassion, skill, and steady hands.
During his time in Henderson alone, Dr. Goldstein cared for nearly 28,000 patients—a remarkable legacy that has touched countless lives and families in our community.
While we will truly miss his expertise and calm presence, we are excited for him as he begins this next chapter—pursuing his hobbies, staying local, and enjoying time with family.
Thank you, Dr. Goldstein, for decades of dedication and service. Wishing you nothing but happiness in retirement!

It’s been a festive-filled December here at Maria Parham Health!
We decked the halls with our annual Holiday Door Decorating Contest and celebrated the season in style with Christmas Spirit Week.
Monday kicked off with Season of Giving Day and our ACTS Food Drive.
Tuesday brought Holiday Character & Celebration Day — with more elves, Grinches, and Santas than you could count.
Wednesday warmed hearts (and bellies!) with our Holiday Breakfast in the cafeteria.
Thursday was Holiday Cheer & Gear Day, featuring the ugliest sweaters this side of Who-ville.
Friday wraps it all up as we deck the halls in festive PJs!

We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated staff who continue to provide compassionate care every day — and for the patients and families who place their trust in us during this special time of year.

Yesterday was a day of gratitude for The Cancer Center at Maria Parham Health. The Henderson Fire Department generously presented our Cancer Center with a check for $18,100.90—the incredible result of their Annual Boot Drive.
Fire Department personnel literally passed the boot to collect donations from our amazing community, and once again, we are blown away by the generosity and compassion shown. This gift will directly help our patients with critical needs during cancer treatment—transportation, medications, and other essentials they may be struggling to obtain. This single check will help more patients than you can imagine.
Thank you for always supporting us and championing our cause. We are exceedingly overwhelmed and grateful. To the Henderson Fire Department and our community: you are forever our heroes.

This week at Maria Parham Health, we’re coming together to support local families who may be struggling during the holiday season. We’re hosting a food drive benefiting ACTS (Area Christians Together in Service), and we’d love your help!

We are collecting canned, boxed, or jarred food items, which will be delivered to ACTS at the end of the drive.

What a fun and heart-warming day at Maria Parham Health!
Today our team got to play Santa, loading up mountains of Angel Tree gifts and helping fill the Salvation Army truck with holiday joy!
The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Project provides Christmas gifts, clothing, and essentials to children in need. Community members “adopt” an angel from the tree, shop for their wish-list items, and make the season brighter for families who might otherwise go without. This year, Maria Parham Health had the privilege of adopting 70 kids in our area!❤️
Thank you to everyone who donated, wrapped, hauled, lifted, and loved. Your generosity is making a real difference this Christmas.
