North Carolinnnnnna! What do yall know about Navy Beans? These small, oval-shaped legumes have a rich history dating back thousands of years to where they were first cultivated by Native American tribes like the Hopi and Anasazi. As with most things, the beans were later introduced to Europe through quote unquote, trade networks. They quickly became a valuable food source due to their high nutritional value and long shelf life.
