What a great day at our Horses for Heroes: Family Day at the Farm event! 🐴

To every veteran, first responder, and law enforcement hero who joined us on November 8th, THANK YOU for your service and for sharing your afternoon with the Healing Reins of Kentucky family. Seeing smiles while connecting with amazing horses, enjoying delicious food, and gathering valuable resources made the whole day truly special.

We are thrilled to show you our new outdoor classroom!

Thanks to Hydro Aluminum, this outdoor classroom will allow us to expand our programs to even more community groups!

Saturday at Horses for Heroes a couple in a gray car pulled up and a small gray cat shot out of the bottom of the car! The cat is currently at the farm safe and warm and needs to be returned to its home. It is someone’s pet. Very, very friendly. If you all could, please spread the word and help find where this cat came from it would be greatly appreciated. female

We're so appreciative of our mother and daughter duo volunteer team, Jill and Madison! 🐴💖

Jill shared how volunteering with Healing Reins creates an amazing bond for them, not only with each other but with the horses and participants as well.

"Not only the horses warm our hearts but the participants do as well," said Jill. "One of our favorite memories was watching Charlie trot for her first time. She loved it and still loves trotting!"

Healing Reins’ instructor, Mia, shared, "The passion and joy Jill and Madison bring when they volunteer is so wonderful. You can tell they enjoy every bit of their time here. The participants thrive with their support and encouragement. They are such a great part of the team!"
