Today, we are shining a spotlight on one of our student participants, Heather! ✨ Heather is a rider whose resilience and spirit inspire everyone at Healing Reins.
For Heather, horses weren’t just a hobby. They were a lifelong passion that was tragically cut short by multiple medical conditions. After years of navigating chronic illness, countless procedures, and surgeries, the dream of returning to the saddle felt nearly impossible.
That is, until she found Healing Reins! 🙌 While other doors may have closed, we were honored to say "YES" to Heather. Through our adaptive riding program and specialized instruction, she has been empowered to relearn at her own pace, honoring exactly what her body allows each day.
Her mother, Julie, shared the below touching testimonial! 👇
"Healing Reins and Mia have given Heather back her passion in life. As a young girl, she lost her horses due to multiple medical conditions that prohibited her from riding.
