How can chiropractic adjustments correct posture? Often, people associate poor posture with advanced age, but it frequently begins with a head tilt, low shoulder, and tilted pelvis. These issues often precede pain. At Spinal Care of Nevada-Henderson, I employ the QSM3 chiropractic protocol to correct the upper cervical spine. Gentle repositioning of the upper neck bones enables natural correction of the tilted head, low shoulder, and tilted pelvis. This approach works in conjunction with the righting reflex, a neurological reflex that maintains upright posture by keeping the eyes level and balance organs in the inner ear in a horizontal plane. Misalignment of the upper cervical spine disrupts this plane, leading to compensatory adjustments in the body, including a curved spine, tilted pelvis, misaligned knees, and weight imbalance. Ultimately, this can result in pain, including headaches, neck and back pain, knee problems, and foot issues. To determine if your pain stems from this issue, please contact us at 702-565-4673.
