Rec Therapy BBQ engaging families and communities in to promote diversity and inclusion, mental health. I am a Suicide Attempt Survivor.

My reality check was on January, 14, 2017 when my doctor asked me if he was suicidal. From that point on life changed and the process was just beginning. Dealing with mental health issues is not something that can be done alone. I know that the journey to a better and happier life involves support from family and friends. I have learned how to deal with the roller coaster of life. He continues to learn about suicidal ideation and suicide prevention. I founded req therapy barbeque for mental health in March 2021. We provide education on mental health to the community, Service Members, Veterans and Families (SMVF). Works with local and national agencies to provide accurate mental health resources. Bring the community together through BBQ events. I am committed to develop educational programs for veterans and civilians to better understand mental health, how to recognize signs of distress, coping with grief and surviving. req therapy bbq for mental health is a Nevada chartered, EIN # 86-2421609 and IRS approved 501(c)3) . tax exempt status organization and All Donations to req therapy bbq for mental health are tax deductible. The Sidewinder Dining room getting a new color and makeover.
Teamwork, dedication and having fun! We continue on with the pictures from our Travis Manion Foundation Community project.

The dining area was on the list of projects and everyone accepted the challenge. On the floor or up a ladder, using a roller or a paint brush, the room received a fresh coat of paint and is ready for action.

We hope the residents and staff enjoy the new look.
