Pax Counseling LLC will no longer be offering mental health services in Mankato, MN. The last day of operation for Pax Counseling in Mankato will be on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Thank you for the opportunity to serve in this community for the last 5 years. Dr. Ross plans to continue assisting people with their mental health wellbeing in new ways in the future. Peace!

Live your life. I often tell clients to think about what they can do to be the person they want to be. I encourage them to base it on their values rather then their thoughts and emotions. However, there are some things that you can give up to make your life more fulfilling. Giving these things up can help to increase you mental health. Here's a good place to start.

Recognize your feelings, Acknowledge your feelings, Investigate your feelings (allow yourself to feel them), and be Nonjudgmental about your feelings. Then get up and be the person you want to be and live the life you want to live. No reason to deny how you feel. No reason for your feelings to stop you from being the person you want to be.
