One of the things I love most about our group is that we have been able to build a team that can meet almost any therapeutic need!! 🤓😎🙌🏻

With the addition of Ally Wallace, we are now able to better assist those clients who are facing specific phobias!! Ally has specialized training in Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), as well as EMDR, CBT and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)- all of which are helpful when treating OCD, anxiety disorders, panic disorders, phobias, and depression.

Ally works with children as young as age 9 and adults across the full lifespan. She is now offering in-person appointments in East Nashville along with virtual sessions upon request.

Session rate: $165/session

Michelle offers telehealth sessions and will now be offering in-person sessions in Hendersonville!! She primarily works with individuals age 18 and above.

Session Rate- $125, with sliding scale options available

Whether it is a direct compliment to one of our staff or a compliment to our group, it always feels awesome! As counselors, many times the only way that we know that we are doing good work is to see our caseload full and our clients returning session after session.

In the same vein, one way that we know we are providing a warm, welcoming space for intern students to learn is to hear what past interns are saying about us! 💛💛

Kendall LeBeau completed her internship with us in Winter 2023 and then returned to us as a contract therapist in Spring 2024. During that time she shared her experiences with a dear friend who was pursuing his Masters Degree in counseling as well…and from that we gained one of our current interns - Eli Moran!! 🙌🏻👏🏼

Now these two families, who have known one another for years, get to participate in THJ activities together- like the Open House we hosted last week! We all love watching our THJ family grow!

Welcome Eli!! We are excited to have another male counselor on staff! Eli brings a unique skill set that we have not previously been able to offer, combined with an excitement and passion for this next step in his own journey. Eli feels especially driven to work with young adults as they walk through the hills & valleys that come with transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. We snuck out of the office this morning and had a great time hanging out at Discovery Stables where Carlin Giles provides Equine Therapy through her practice- Healing Pastures. She, and the owner of the farm, educated us about the process of incorporating horses (and other farm animals) into counseling and how it can bring healing in a completely different way. It is truly fascinating stuff and something that we wish more clients would include in their journey!

The horses were very interested in us as well! 🤣😂🥰☺️ and some of us were more okay with that than others!! .pastures
