🦠 Flu & COVID-19 Cases Are on the Rise — Protect Yourself and Your Family
Over the past few weeks, we have been seeing a significant increase in both flu and COVID-19 cases in our office. As respiratory illnesses continue circulating in the community, taking simple preventive steps can help protect you and those around you.
Ways to Reduce Your Risk:
✔️ Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after being in public places.
✔️ Avoid touching your face (eyes, nose, and mouth), which can allow viruses to enter the body.
✔️ Stay home if you feel sick. Even mild symptoms can spread infection to others.
✔️ Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow to reduce the spread of respiratory droplets.
✔️ Disinfect commonly touched surfaces like phones, keyboards, doorknobs, and countertops.
✔️ Support your immune system by getting enough sleep, staying hydrated, eating nutritious foods, and managing stress.
Common symptoms of flu and COVID-19 include:
• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Sore throat
• Body aches
• Fatigue
• Headache
• Congestion
• Sometimes nausea or diarrhea
If you begin experiencing symptoms, early evaluation and treatment can help prevent complications.
