Good afternoon,

Our Advanced Planning Specialist, Jamie McKee, recently shared this on her page, and we found it truly meaningful. Her words beautifully highlight the importance of permanent placement and the lasting connection it creates for families—honoring heritage, preserving memories, and providing a place to visit for generations to come.

We’re honored to share her message with you below.

"Lost heritage. It happens when there’s nothing physical left to bring a family back together.

A cemetery changes that.

A cemetery is not just a place of loss… it’s a place of connection.
It’s where stories live on.

It’s where a granddaughter can stand and say, “This is where my family is.”

When families are laid to rest together, something powerful happens, you create a permanent place for generations to return to.

Without that… families scatter. Different locations, different and over time, that connection can be lost.

But when you choose to keep your family together intentionally you’re doing more than making arrangements. You’re preserving your family’s identity.

This isn’t just about today. This is about 50, 100 years from now… when someone you may never meet stands there, and because of the decision you made, they feel that connection.

Keeping families together in a cemetery isn’t just important…it’s a gift of heritage, of connection, and of love that never fades.

And that… is something worth protecting."
