This Christmas, 66 children in our community will feel the warmth of generosity — thanks to you.

We started with 50 sponsorship cards. Within days, team members kept stopping by asking how they could help bless a child this season. Our friends at The Storehouse sent 16 more cards, and those were claimed just as quickly.

What stood out wasn't the number — it was the joy.
Team members shared photos of the toys they picked, teamed up with family and coworkers to meet wish lists and talked about wanting each child to feel cared for. That spirit of giving is who we are at AdventHealth. It’s how we extend Christ’s healing ministry in simple, meaningful ways.

To every person who sponsored a child: thank you for helping our community feel whole — body, mind and spirit — during a season when love and hope matter most.

We had such a fun evening “decking the halls with holiday cheer” at our AdventHealth Hendersonville Holiday Celebration. It was a great chance to unwind, share good conversations and enjoy time together during a busy season.

One of the best parts of this celebration we hold each year is getting to see teammates from across our service lines and locations. This year, that included our newest teammates from AdventHealth Medical Group Radiation Oncology (formerly GenesisCare) and Asheville Urological Associates, now part of the AdventHealth Medical Group. We’re so glad you’re here and excited for all we’ll do together for our community.

We’re excited to welcome Beth Mitchell, PA-C, to the team at AdventHealth | Southeastern Orthopedics and Spine at Haywood*. Beth brings seven years of orthopedic experience, a warm, patient-centered approach and a passion for helping people stay active and feel their best.

As a former Division I athlete, she understands how injuries can affect everyday life. Beth listens closely, explains options clearly and works with each person to create a care plan that supports whole health — body, mind and spirit.

She and her family are already enjoying life in Western North Carolina and are grateful for the warm welcome they’ve received.
