CONGRATULATIONS to SARAH HOMBURG who was announced as the WINNER of DR. SWAN'S INTERNSHIP this summer! Dr. Chad Swan, PJP class of 89, is a Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon who has offered a two week internship for the students of PJP, in Hendersonville, Tennessee for over 10 years.

PJP's 2022 student intern, Sarah Homburg, will spend the first week at the hospital following Dr. Swan through surgeries, meetings with other specialists, and patient rounds. The second week she will spend time at his medical office following his daily practice and learning about the operational aspects of medicine.

Thank you to Dr. Swan for his continued support of PJP students over the last 10 years!!

We're proud to have been a part of Sumner County Schools' T.A.A.T.U program for more than a decade to teach kids the dangers of smoking and to***co at an early age. For his morning talk, Dr. Swan addressed the 1,200 students present to remind them how detrimental smoking is for their health. Check out this video of this year's program below.

As the summer comes to an end, we’re celebrating another anniversary of the Innov8 program our very own Dr. Swan helped start 12 years ago. This program offers students from both Pope John Paul II High Schools here in Hendersonville as well as in Slidell, Louisiana the opportunity to shadow Dr. Swan at his practice and gain insight into the world of medicine.
