Well, crazy week would be a severe understatement. Left the surgery center last Thursday after a full day of rain. Next morning Helene wrecked our lives, and destroyed much of WNC. After the shock of the damage I have seen amazing feats of generosity. Was filling up gas tanks in TN on Wed to bring back and numerous people handed me cash to use to support our area (it went to )

I am happy to say that our EmergeOrtho offices will be back open Monday on a limited basis. Please be patient with us as we try to accommodate severe backlog.

For those wanting to help support the recovery of WNC after Helene:

Our church, Biltmore Church has been a great resource for those in need, and monies will go to support those in most need

World Central Kitchen is in town now and providing meals to those unable to access food

NC Medical Society is helping support practices damaged by Helene and provide medical care for our population.

It’s going to be a LONG recovery but we are resilient and will endure.
