“I don’t want to lose my independence” is one of the most common fears families hear.
And it makes sense. Independence matters.
The right support should not take independence away. It should help protect it.
A smaller, more personal care setting can offer gentle help with meals, medications, safety, and daily routines while still honoring choice, dignity, and the things that make someone feel like themselves.
Because care should feel supportive, not controlling.
