Cold Weather and Mobility Battery Tips - you want to know about.
❄ Don’t get stranded! Protect your power chair or scooter batteries this winter. Cold weather affects batteries, especially if the temperature falls below 32° F.

🚫 Protect your batteries from the cold. Power chair and scooter batteries slowly lose overall capacity and become unusable if left in the cold for extended periods of time.

⚡️️Refrain from overcharging batteries when not in use. Maintain a charge of 90% to preserve capacity. In cold weather, the batteries require more power to operate efficiently due to icy and slippery roads.

Boxing Day traditionally is a day for giving, especially to those who are less fortunate. Some people celebrate by gathering and “boxing” gifts and giving them to less fortunate people near their home and around the world.

Join us in tradition to support our community in need. Traditionally, the Care Solutions team collects and takes donated items, to Hendersonville Rescue Mission, such as non-perishable food, socks, gloves and toiletries.
