As Open Enrollment continues, please remember these important points:
- If you are a direct primary care patient, It is often advisable to maintain a higher deductible with
a lower monthly fee since you are also paying your DPC subscription to us.
- If you have an HSA or FSA plan, federal law states that you can now use that money to pay your
monthly subscription fees.
- Paying for a physical exam once a year actually covers your DPC membership for the entire year
and costs less than your monthly fees.
- We do take Medicare plans, but only certain ones. Even if we are in some kind of book, that
does not mean we take that plan.
- If you are Medicare and want to change your plans, please call us to be sure we actually take
that plan before you make changes.
- We are still taking new Medicare patients, as long as they are traditional Medicare (red, white,
and blue card), Healthspring, or Humana. If you aren't sure what you have, please call to let us
help you.
- If you need help making sure that your Medicare plan makes sense, call us so we can refer you
to one of our trusted Medicare advisors.
