Thank you for Charleston Firefighters Association - Local 61 for sharing! Our members currently have been voluntarily conducting the same screening and we are very fortunate to have this funded for the second year in a row! We hope to have this for years to come!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE.

On behalf of Charleston Firefighters Association, we stand with Chief Curia on his budget item request to bring life saving cancer screenings to ALL Charleston Firefighters. Early detection will save lives. We would also like to thank Lowcountry Firefighter Support Team, Inc. for sponsoring 5 members to get this test done at no cost.

Please see below for the proactive thinking by our Board to bring United Diagnostic Services, LLC to Charleston to show we mean business when it comes to early detection.
