The HPFFA is Local 2645 of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). The IAFF is the driving force behind nearly every advance in the fire and emergency services in the 21st century. 🔥The PFFPNC held its first Lunchtime with Dr. Hind Zoom session yesterday, an outstanding new benefit that allows affiliate leaders to ask key medical questions and receive essential guidance directly from a physician’s perspective.

🔥Dr. Hind, the PFFPNC’s newly appointed Chief Medical Officer, provided expert insight as leaders learned about reducing exposure risks, the importance of enhanced medical screenings, and which cancers firefighters should prioritize during screenings.

🔥The next Lunchtime with Dr. Hind will focus on 1582 physicals, what your members are currently receiving and what they should be receiving.

Dry conditions and gusty winds will continue the fire weather threat through Thursday. Winds are expected to relax Friday decreasing this threat, but dry conditions may keep isolated areas of fire weather danger possible.

The Hendersonville Fire Department has been made aware of a scam targeting local businesses. Individuals are calling businesses and pretending to be with HFD, claiming money is owed for fire inspections.

This is a scam. HFD will never call you to request or collect payment over the phone.
If you receive a suspicious call like this, do not share any payment or personal information.

Shortly before midnight, Engine9-3 responded as Mutual Aid with for a Structure Fire. Once arrived on scene, Engine9-3 was assigned Defensive Fire Attack and cleared the scene shortly before 4am this morning.

Aggressive tactics helped save two structures on each side of the involved structure today! To include a quick control time for this complex of an incident!
Thankfully there were no injuries and property was able to be saved on the structures. The cause remains under investigation

Structure Fire:

At approximately 11:30 AM on September 24, 2025, the Hendersonville Fire Department responded to a structure fire call at 384 King Creek Blvd. Upon arrival, firefighting efforts began to the home as well as two neighboring homes. There are no reported injuries to the public or public safety staff. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
