The HPFFA is Local 2645 of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF). The IAFF is the driving force behind nearly every advance in the fire and emergency services in the 21st century. With headquarters in Washington, DC, and Ottawa, Ontario, the IAFF represents more than 300,000 full-time professional fire fighters and paramedics in more than 3,100 affiliates. IAFF members protect more than 85 percent of the population in communities throughout the United States and Canada. The IAFF is also one of the most active lobbying organizations in Washington, DC. Shortly before midnight, Engine9-3 responded as Mutual Aid with for a Structure Fire. Once arrived on scene, Engine9-3 was assigned Defensive Fire Attack and cleared the scene shortly before 4am this morning.

Aggressive tactics helped save two structures on each side of the involved structure today! To include a quick control time for this complex of an incident!
Thankfully there were no injuries and property was able to be saved on the structures. The cause remains under investigation

Structure Fire:

At approximately 11:30 AM on September 24, 2025, the Hendersonville Fire Department responded to a structure fire call at 384 King Creek Blvd. Upon arrival, firefighting efforts began to the home as well as two neighboring homes. There are no reported injuries to the public or public safety staff. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

We're excited to announce the expansion of our fleet! We've added another Zodiak Boat and a trailer to transport it, plus a motor is on its way. This upgrade will enhance our water rescue capabilities in and around the City. Thank you to Administration for supporting our Department's efforts to better serve our community!

Earlier this afternoon, Hendersonville Fire Department responded to a smoker fire at Moe's on Asheville Highway. The fire was stopped from spreading into the building thanks to some quick responses by the crews. Fortunately, there were no injuries and the fire has been contained.
