Last evening, a Community Education event at HCHA featured a discussion on food and diabetes, expertly coordinated by Falon Paluch, Megan Wiesner, Registered Dietician, and Kathy Christianson, CNP. The event included complimentary goodie bags and free health screenings for attendees.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
💙Not only is CRC the SECOND leading cause of cancer death in the U.S. for men & women, but it's the LEADING cause of cancer death for men & women under 50
💙The American Cancer Society (ACS) estimates that 158,850 Americans will be diagnosed and 55,230 will lose their life to CRC this year
💙BUT, when caught in its early stages, CRC is extremely treatable and beatable!
Screening is recommended starting at age 45. Dr. Deeb performs colonoscopies at HCHA the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month.

HCHA now offers Cash Labs. Most common lab tests are available without a doctor's order and for a self-pay price. These are not submitted to insurance, and the results are sent directly to you. To find out more, call the Lab department at HCHA at 507-275-3134.
