To hear the passing of this man stirs something within me. Russ Galpin was the oldest and longest, teaching hunter ed instructor in the state. I came on board under his guidance when I couldn't decide between teaching hunter education or NRA.

When he "passed the torch", I was uncertain of my abilities, still am many times. After a few rocky classes, he still commented it was a good class, then tell me about his own fumbles along the way.

His smile became more brilliant when I took over as Chief Instructor because he could enjoy teaching without the stress. His "Box of Possibilities" I treasure and will never look at the same. His lifetime is volumes of adventure.

RIP, ol' friend. Thank you isn't enough for what you taught me and the confidence you had when I didn't have my own.

Dear Friends,

As of this morning, I’ve decided to discontinue my space in Henniker, ending my contact due to renew in November. This is not taken lightly, I've tried to hold out until the last minute. I’ve worked very hard to revamp a business I tried to accomplish many years ago in order to have more freedom with nursing school and life, but now with nursing school and life finances, some things need to take a back seat to save money and finance those studies and upcoming unrelated goals, so I’ll be incorporating more stable income to keep balls rolling and plates spinning.

I will still be available for chair massage at wellness events same as always, but no physical space for table massage. Regarding Reiki classes, I’m more than happy to visit a space that can accommodate small groups. If you need referrals for a therapist, be it massage or CranioSacral Therapy, please let me know so you get the best care you deserve with less stress finding a match with a random online search.

I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to make appointments with me. I hope that in some way I brought to the table what you needed or sought. I appreciate the smiles, the stories, the trust, the hugs, and so much more. But in the end, I have to prioritize and invest in what matters most.

This isn’t goodbye, it's more like I'll see you around! Take care and be well!

It's been brought to my attention someone is using Renascence Massage & Bodywork, PLLC and my number to solicit business. A kind stranger called and said a person named Madelyn called him.

I'm a sole proprietor, solo therapist, with no employees. I will not contact anyone unless confirming an appointment, or if they've requested information or referral.

If this person calls you, by all means, use an air horn or semi truck to let them know I don't appreciate pathetic losers posing as a reputable small business.

Just a quick thank you to the folks who have reached out for appointments during this time of higher education transition. I know it takes me longer to respond, harder to schedule, and a drastic change from before this week. But I appreciate those who've been understanding and wishing me well as I re-embark on this path.

I also appreciate those folks I've worked with for chair massage events understanding I may or may not be able to accommodate those days.

Day two of nursing school is already vastly different than my experience last year. So far I look forward to school and my apprehension diminishes with each class and the instructors I have. Maybe I'm speaking too soon, but the frustrations I faced in my first week(s) at the other college are nowhere in sight at NEC. I hope that continues, and if the instructors are as genuine as they seem, this should be a rewarding journey/relationship.

I've also taken on a new LNA position which requires a new way of learning and understanding, and because I feel like a fish out of water, I need to focus.

To everyone, family, friends, and extended family and friends, and brothers and sisters, I thank you!

Hard to believe round two of nursing school starts in less than a week. Renascence Massage & Bodywork, PLLC will have changes, and in an effort to keep my LNA license active during school, I've taken on another part-time job which further diminshes my availability.
