Dr. Ying Moyer was born in Fujian, China and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. She received her medical degree in 2017 from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (Virginia Campus) and completed her Pediatric residency training at VCU in June 2020. She is the first female from her village in China to become a physician. Both she and her husband fell in love with Richmond during their residency training at VCU and are both thrilled to stay in the area to continue practicing medicine and serving the community.
