Calf strength isn’t just about aesthetics - it’s key for protecting your knees, calves, and feet. Most of us are weakest at the very top of a heel raise (end-range plantarflexion)… which also happens to be where injuries love to show up. These variations focus on building strength right where you need it most. Last year, I struggled with Achilles tendinitis. Not as a physical therapist. Not as someone with all the answers. But as a person who wanted to move, run, and train - and couldn’t without pain. Happy Client Win Wednesday!

We are happy to share another win with you today.

Imagine waking up with a crick in your neck - it hurts to move your head to the side and feels pinchy and sore. Now imagine having that sensation for 10 years!

This client had experienced consistent neck pain and stiffness for the past 10 years and had tried everything he could think of - but nothing worked.

Honored to share yet another Client Win this Wednesday!

Sarah is a patient who we’ve had the pleasure of working with over the past two months.

She is an avid runner who began to experience pain on the outside of her knee which was caused by IT Band inflammation. 🦵🗡️

She tried to fix this on her own with stretching and foam rolling, but her at-home treatments weren’t getting to the root cause of her pain!

With our movement assessment we found weakness in her hips that were resulting in her knees taking a beating every time she ran. 😱

Armed with an individualized exercise program and with an accountability partner in her corner - she has made a ton of progress and has been able to return to running without pain! 🏃‍♀️💨

We still have work to do, but are on the right track. 💪🏼
