Another one of our fabulous partners supporting those in need.Good Shepherd United Methodist Church

As food insecurity continues to rise, we are grateful for the many ways that Good Shepherd supports our communities' food needs. The United Methodist Men offered a fabulous dinner and time of fellowship at their recent Annual Steak Dinner. Their generosity continued when they announced on Sunday a $ 1,000 donation to the Welborne Community Food Pantry! Thank you, UMM, for providing resources for one of our community partners who last night served 72 families representing 314 individuals.

Feeding Friends in Tuckahoe

The Welborne Community Food Pantry wants to feed our neighbors not only with relationships but with good, healthy food! We recognize that there is food scarcity in our neighborhood among all races and classes, and for a variety of reasons. Sometimes families are confronted with job loss, or high medical bills. Other times, immigrant families have fled oppression in their home countries and need a new start. We are here to offer relationship and food.
