We had a delicious lunch of homemade naan bread pizzas! Each person designed their own delectable personal-sized pizza, with gooey cheese, pepperoni, and even some fresh herbs from our own resident garden! While the pizzas baked, we reminisced about favorite types of pizza from our childhoods, and laughed at tales shared by Programming Assistant Lisa, of her days working in her small-town pizza shop!

As the weather outside grows cooler, we're embracing the season with the comforting flavors of fall! Our baking group filled the hallways with the delicious scent of warm cinnamon walnut coffee cake. As if that weren't tasty enough on its own, they topped each coffee cake muffin with a drizzle of sweet icing. Yum!

Baywinde, a Senior Lifestyle community, was recently highlighted on NBC Nightly News. Dining Services Director Taylor and her husband, Jason, celebrated their love with a second wedding ceremony held at the community, where more than 200 guests joined in the festivities. Two cherished residents, Jack and Angelo, proudly escorted Taylor down the aisle. As Jack shared, “I felt like I was walking my granddaughter down the aisle.”

Our residents had the most wonderful day exploring the sunflower fields at Wickham Farms! The bright blooms, fresh air, and cheerful atmosphere made for such a joyful summer outing. Smiles, laughter, and plenty of photos surrounded by sunshine and sunflowers - it was a day to remember! 💛🌻☀️
