Today, we're introducing you to the hardworking nurses at the Hillcrest Henryetta emergency room (ER). Our ER manager Mary, says this small but mighty team is constantly on the go. "The staff are all top notch and exemplify nursing today," said Mary. "I am honored to be their nursing manager and we are all proud of the ER here."

The Henryetta ER employs 12 specially trained nurses, and some of them have been with our hospital for as long as 15 years! "The knowledge rural nurses carry is truly unmatched," said Mary, when asked about the talent on her team. "They really have to know their stuff to [thrive] here."

Hillcrest Henryetta has been recognized as one of Modern Healthcare's top 100 Places to Work, and Mary says she's not surprised. "I am grateful for a hospital where everyone pitches in to help everyone," she said.

These men and women are the ultimate multi-taskers, quick thinkers and compassionate allies we all need in an emergency. Our emergency nurses truly are superheroes in scrubs. Join us in celebrating their dedication, resilience and life-saving work during !
