Activity: Walk around the Pond

Story: Our weekly walks around our pond allow us to exercise not only our bodies but so many of our senses. Our eyes were drawn to the colorful goldfish in our pond, our noses caught the scent of cut grass and flowers bloomed! Our ears heard the sounds of birds chirping and bullfrogs croaking! We felt the warm touch of the sun shining down on us and lastly, we tasted and nourished our bodies with a drink of water to complete our time with nature!

Story: We had a lot to celebrate this week at Rhineland Pointe, especially the launch of Flourish Wellness! What better way to do it than with a happy hour filled with warm, meaningful friendships where we shared many stories and laughter. This young lady totally made our day! Aly is an 11 year old Balloon Artist and completely amazed us with her skills! She put together dogs, unicorns, seashells and flowers, just to name a few!  And at the end of her presentation, each and every Resident got a hug from her! 

To top off the wonderful time we spent with Aly, her brother, Gray, handed out freshly baked cinnamon rolls to everyone as well! Gray and his sister, Aly both share some pretty amazing social qualities! Their sweet , kind, polite demeanors were very noticeable and we wish Aly all the best with her business called: “Up Up and Aly”! No doubt she has a very bright future ahead!

A big thank you to her grandparents as well, who brought them both over today!

We’re sure Aly and Gray’s parents are extremely proud of them both
