We offer patients an outstanding eyewear experience, affordable prices, high-quality eyewear, the Hermiston is a great community. Lots to choose from.

In November of 2021, Marcia Lambert retired and sold Affordable Family Eyewear to Nick Page a long-time family friend and past associate. Nick Page and Marcia had previously worked together and Nick continued supporting Marcia from time to time with her business here in Hermiston. Nick Page and his wife Barb Page, and their long-time friend Steve Cox own and operate the practice here in Hermiston. Nick is an Oregon State University alumni and is a Washington State Licensed Dispensing Optician, passing the licensing requirements in 1996. He is also certified with the American Board of Opticianry and certified National Contact Lens Examiners (ABO-NCLE). Nick has over 30 years of experience in the optical business, where he trained employees, opened, and managed optical practices across Eastern Washington for major optical dispensaries; such as VisionWorks and EyeMart. Our goal is to provide the same affordable eyeglasses just as Marcia had built so many years ago with her husband Allan Lambert back in 2002. They didn't just build an optical store, their goal was to build a one-stop-shop that could serve the Umatilla area with affordable eyewear with the shortest possible delivery time, the greatest quality, and while providing exceptional customer service. This is accomplished by providing a comfortable showroom and by maintaining an onsite lens processing lab right here in downtown Hermiston. We support many local organizations through donations. We work with area school Districts, Lions Clubs, and other entities to provide inexpensive and many times, free eyeglasses when there is a need for children or adults that have limited or no means to pay. In 2014 Affordable Family Eyewear was awarded Hermiston Business of the Year from the Hermiston Rotary Club / Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to many more years of success with your support and patronage. We have over 1400 Frames in stock. Plenty of lower-cost Quality Frames and designer brand names including:

Fast and Friendly Professional Service

With our own Full Surfacing Lenses Processing Lab, we can provide 1-3 hour service on many prescriptions and same-day service on most others. We gladly accept other eye care providers' prescriptions or if you require an exam please call for an appointment. Only top-quality lenses are used. Lenses are supplied by Seiko/Pentax, Younger Optics, Essilor, and other high-quality manufacturers. We accept Visa, M/C, Discover, AMEX, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Care Credit

Insurance: We accept most insurance plans including, Moda, Regence, Pacific Source, and many more. Flexible Spending Account: If you participate in an (FSA) flexible spending account through your employer your account dollars can be used for prescription eyewear.
