Next up in our meet-the-team series is our Practice Manager, Cortney!

If you’ve been to Lakeside, you know she’s the heart of this place. She’s officially our "Clinic Mom"—the one who makes sure we’ve all had water, the one who keeps the snacks stocked, and the first person we run to when we need a hand.

From her pigtail days to now, Cortney has always been:
✨ The one with the best, most infectious laugh in the entire building.
✨ The designated "snuggle expert" for every patient, from bunnies to bearded dragons.
✨ The person who is always down to stop for a quick photo (clearly, she’s been a pro since day one!).

Whether she’s loving a patient or just making us smile during a crazy shift, we’d be lost without her. We love you, Cortney! 🐾✨

Even a quick outdoor adventure can expose an indoor cat to parasites, injuries, or infections. If your cat goes outside occasionally, make sure you’re protecting them with:

• Up-to-date vaccinations
• Annual wellness exams
• Microchip + visible ID tag
• Year-round parasite prevention (fleas, ticks and yes, cats can get heartworm)
• Supervised outings (harnesses or a secure yard) and a quick check for ticks/wounds after time outside
