July 1, 2025 if you are my patient you were notified in your portal that I have transitioned into 💯 consulting in Lifestyle, Integrative and Mind-Body Medicine as Medical Director at UPMC. This is exciting for me, health care in general, medical school, residency education and our world. Several years ago, I was approached by Dr Rajvi Patel that she wanted to join a practice like mine and she got certified in lifestyle medicine in hopes to change her path. Little did she know she would be inheriting the most thoughtful and incredible patients in the area I’ll miss all your family medicine hugs. Dr Patel has teamed up with Caitlin and Leanna, our amazing lifestyle, integrative and mind-body medicine Physican Assistants to make this transition as smooth as possible. Over the next few weeks I’m going to try to post as much information as I can and please ask questions. This is not goodbye this is I’ll see you in a more focused capacity with more time to listen and educate you. It’s truly bittersweet❤️ I never imagined this position, as it didn’t exist, but here I am now leading an entire healthcare system placing self care in the center of every aspect of medical education, residency and patient care. I have been very connected with you all …some for 20+ years, I have pioneered this path….I AM READY to take this on and immensely grateful for Dr Rajvi Patel for taking over the reins and working with me to keep us connected.
