This afternoon I ventured to Lake Erie because I wanted to photograph the chunks of "blue ice" that are the result of last weekend's strong winds. I sometimes see other photographers sharing photos of coyotes or foxes out on the Lake Erie ice, and I have often wished to see that sight. Well, today it finally happened. I spotted a red fox running out onto the ice and took several photos. The fox was very far away, but I managed to snag a few workable images with my 600 mm lens. This is my favorite of the bunch.
