New York State Police Wall of Honor - Today we Remember Trooper Shawn W. Snow

Trooper Shawn W. Snow was killed on August 3, 2008, in an electrical accident.

Trooper Snow was assisting a disabled antique fire truck on the International Bridge approach in the City of Ogdensburg when the vehicle came in contact with an overhead high voltage wire. Trooper Snow and the vehicle’s operator were killed instantly.

Trooper Snow was a 19-year veteran of the New York State Police and was assigned to the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit at SP Raybrook at the time of his death.

The Hermon Volunteer Fire Department will be holding their annual Mother’s Day chicken BBQ on May 11th. A dinner will be $15 and a half will be $8. This is a drive through event. Pre order at 315-347-3706. We will start serving at noon until sold out. Pre orders are to be picked up by 12:30!
