I hear this ALL the time:
“I was told I will never need progesterone because I don’t have a uterus.”
Chief complaint: poor sleep, mood swings, weight gain (‼️)
Progesterone has so many other benefits besides uterine protection. Even without a uterus, many women still benefit from replenishing progesterone using bio-identical progesterone.
✅ 1. Neuroprotective Effects (Brain Health)
• Progesterone supports cognitive function, helps regulate mood, and may protect against neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.
• It has calming, anti-anxiety effects and modulates GABA receptors in the brain, which may improve sleep and mood.

• Progesterone supports osteoblast (bone-building cell) activity.
