We provide long-term residential care, room, board, personal care and 24/7 supervision for our residents.

We want to wish an extra special birthday to a Legacy K family member....yes an absolutely important person to all of us here!

Often times we lose family members when we lose a resident, or they support us silently and distantly. Lucinda and her family trusted us to care for her Mom, who we deeply miss. But that loss hasn’t diminished Lucinda’s love and support.

Lucinda is in contact with us minimally 3 times a week. She knows our weather, she knows the status of every single person here. We receive countless care packages from her weekly...flowers, food, chocolates, decor, crafts, cleaning and hygiene supplies.

Her love for us is unconditional. She never misses a fundraiser or event for kids, she has personally supported my mom, my sister, me and other staff she has grown close to.

This is the perfect opportunity to highlight the deep, deep human factor behind what we get to do. She doesn't have to add us to her thoughts, prayers or giving but she does, and she loves it, and we love her. She is sprinkled throughout our entire property inside and out!

The opportunity to love Flossie Brayton filled our hearts and soul. Gaining Lucinda as a friend, a supporter, a family member, a mom, a granny....you name it....is an unwavering gift.

Everyone at Legacy K wishes you the happiest birthday Lucinda, and we hope your year is filled with so many blessings. ❤

We have a Christmas update from Pota's pen pal Gunner. He had a visit to drop off a Christmas gift for Pota, then he joined his family in singing Christmas carols and this is him being so excited for the gifts Pota gave him. Happy Holidays!
