Depression is invisible - so many suffer in silence

Depression isn’t always sad songs and su***de notes - sometimes it’s faking a beautiful smile and hiding your “inner world” from those around you

Always check in on your loved ones - even the ones who appear happy

Sometimes it takes going through a lot of the wrong people for us to finally know what’s right. You can know exactly what you want and say all the right things until you’re blue in the face, but if the person you’re saying them to is wrong then you’re not fully honoring your own integrity and standards. Being with the wrong people teaches us so much about what we don’t want which is equally as important as knowing what we do want. Not all is lost, pay attention to who you are choosing, make sure that you’re saying the right things to the right person. If you are, you’ll feel heard, understood and valued. If not it’s possibly time for you to re-evaluate the parts people play in your life.

Creating soulful relationships is about expansion and intimacy, it’s to connect with someone from the soul and as a consequence both people expand in any or all aspects: mind, body, and soul.⠀

To create a soulful connection you have to start with yourself. Don’t expect to meet someone who is something you are not and to have a deep connection. ⠀

Soulful connections are mirrors of the soul. That’s why we get along so well. It’s not because we are missing something and that person has what we are looking for -that’s the recipe for attachment-, it’s because we are the same.⠀

You must become yourself what you wish to attract, then the connection will be seamless, peaceful, natural; like when two birds of the same kind meet on the sky and continue flying on the same path because it’s natural.⠀

People work as mirrors to help us see what we can’t see in ourselves, they can show us aspects of us that we need to work on or also show us our hidden qualities and interests.⠀

A soulful connection doesn’t mean it has to last a long time either. We can learn important lessons from a person we saw only once.

For those of you that wanted something on friendship. 💫 When you stop and think about it, it’s pretty wild about all of the things that had to line up so you could meet your friends - maybe it was the street your parents chose to live on during your childhood or where you live as an adult, what classes you were placed in during school or the major you chose, maybe it’s a sibling or a cousin and on and on and on. 💫💫💫 ANYWAY IF YOU SKIPPED ALL OF THAT, just tell your friends you love them!

“The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any." Alice Walker

By seeing themselves as worthless.

By believing the lie that they don’t have the ability to make a change.

But self-deprecation is a form of self-sabatoge.

Negative thoughts breed negative outcomes.

Thinking we are going to mess up, often sets up to do just that.

Luckily the opposite is also true.

A positive outlook gives way to positive results.

When we believe in ourselves, we rise to the occasion.
When we have faith in our abilities, we grow limitless.
There is a power in confidence.

A power in knowing you are enough.

In believing you are okay exactly as you are.

You are so much stronger than you know.

Your potential is boundless.

All you have to do is believe.
