As the summer heat continues to rise, we want to take a moment to remind everyone how important it is to look out for our elderly loved ones during this season. High temperatures can be especially challenging for seniors, and staying cool, hydrated, and safe is a top priority!

At Decena Home Care, our caregivers are trained to monitor for signs of heat exhaustion, ensure proper hydration, and help maintain a comfortable environment at home. Whether it's offering a refreshing drink, adjusting fans and A/C, or simply spending time indoors during peak hours — we’re here to keep our clients safe and cared for.

💧 Summer Safety Tips for Seniors:

Drink plenty of water, even if you're not thirsty.

Wear light, breathable clothing.

Avoid going out during the hottest parts of the day.

Use air conditioning or fans to stay cool indoors.

Eat light, fresh meals that help hydrate the body.

Let’s take care of each other this summer — especially those who need it most. ❤️

Hello to all our dear followers! It’s Monday again! ☀️

We hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready to roll into a brand-new week! 😊

Last week was full of amazing visits, and one of our favorites was stopping by Carevana Home Health 💙. We brought them some goodies to show our love, and as always, we were met with the warmest smiles!

Special shoutout to our awesome friends there—Dino and Erika, the super kind and hands-on owners who truly care about their patients and their team. Erika keeps everything running smoothly as the nurse in charge, and Dino is always so friendly and welcoming—we love chatting with both!

And of course, we can’t forget the amazing crew: Brittani, Camden, and Glaiza—always extra helpful, caring, and super sweet every time we visit. You all make Carevana such a bright and positive place!
