Northern Virginia's only autism therapy practice to provide collaborative treatment, advocacy and support for your child, family and caregivers. Autism FIRST provides a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to therapy focusing on support of the Autistic patient and their entire support system including the parents, siblings, and caregivers. We offer ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, sibling support, parent training and support, and other caregiver training and support.

Our team came together for a Soup & Chili Cook-Off Challenge, bringing warmth, creativity, and a whole lot of friendly competition. From hearty chilis to cozy soups, everyone showed off their best recipes — and even better teamwork.

October at Autism FIRST was a month full of celebration, connection, and care that grew brighter with every day! 💙

Our clinics came alive with fun and creativity — from Pajama Day, Wacky Tacky Tuesday, Sports Day, and our Pink-Out for Breast Cancer Awareness, to the sweetest of events: our Fall Bake-Off, where staff shared homemade treats and plenty of laughter.

We ended the month with our learners’ joyful Halloween Trick-or-Treat celebrations, using social stories to build confidence, practice communication, and have fun in a safe, supportive setting.

Beyond our clinics, Team Autism FIRST proudly joined the Sprout 5K Run, finishing 6th place while supporting Sprout Therapeutic & Education Riding Center’s mission of inclusion and empowerment. ‍💙

Our leadership also had the privilege of presenting at the Virginia Head Start Association’s Health & Family Institute, sharing insights on collaboration, early intervention, and family-centered care across communities.

Our Day Program learners celebrated with a fun-filled Trick-or-Treat activity, using social stories to practice communication, turn-taking, and social interaction — all while having a blast in their costumes.
