Stress increases neck pain, headaches, and shoulder pain. Stress can tense muscles, increase inflammation, change movement, decrease the effectiveness of the nervous system, and decrease the immune system.

Several things that can help reduce stress are exercise, eating healthy foods, relaxation or meditative exercises, getting enough sleep, and avoiding things like caffeine and alcohol.

If you're just someone unable to relax, chiropractic adjustment(s) help reduce stress, pain, and inflammation.

Headaches and neck pain sometimes feel like they come out of nowhere. The most common causes of neck pain are a odd sleeping position, new/old injuries, poor posture, lifting too much, housework, too much computer use, etc. They do not have to limit your daily activities. Routine stretching and movement exercises can keep most pain(s) away.
---
When that does not work, chiropractors get to the cause of the problem to find a solution.
