Ten Ten Life is partnering with Willing Warriors and will lead FREE Group Therapy Weekend Retreats for military members, veterans, and first responders at the Willing Warriors Retreat Center in Haymarket, VA. These new quarterly retreats will accelerate trauma recovery through Dr. Curt Thompson's Confessional Community® model

Ten Ten Life, a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the mental health of military members, veterans, and first responders, today announced a partnership with Willing Warriors to offer recurring group therapy intensive retreats at the Willing Warriors’ Warrior Retreat Center at Bull Run in Haymarket, Va—at NO COST to participants.

To facilitate deeper healing and recovery for participants, each 3-day retreat offering will utilize the Confessional Community® group therapy model, developed by renowned psychiatrist, Curt Thompson, M.D., founder and Chief Purpose Officer of New Story Behavioral Health in Falls Church, Va.

Retreats will be hosted at the Willing Warriors’ Warrior Retreat at Bull Run in Haymarket, a 37-acre retreat center ideally suited for deep therapeutic work.

The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year. But it is also a turning point. The moment the light begins its return. From here on, each day will slowly grow longer, lighter, and brighter.

The solstice is a reminder that brighter days are ahead and that even in the deepest darkness, change is already underway and hope can begin to grow.

Timelapse video of The Stars and Stripes NOVA Committee 3rd Annual Clothing and Food Distribution event this past Saturday! We were honored to join and support Stars and Stripes NOVA at this amazing event in Herndon, VA

We believe giving back to our local community is important, which is why Community Missions is a key milestone on our L.I.F.E. Journey Program. We strive to partner with other nonprofits and organizations doing good and affecting change in our local communities. Actively contributing to the health and healing of others is one way we can find greater personal healing and fullness ourselves.

The Stars and Stripes NOVA Committee primarily supports veterans and first responders, but this event served all those in need in our community.

📆 A friendly reminder to join us TOMORROW Saturday, Dec 6th as we team up with The Stars and Stripes NOVA Committee at their 3rd Annual Clothing and Food Distribution event from 8am - 12pm at Green Lizard Cycling in Herndon, VA.

Last year's event saw ~20,000 pounds of food distributed to several thousand people. Goya Foods, the Capital Area Food Bank, and local grocery stores contributed to the distribution.

All are welcome to join us and help! Sign up with the Stars and Stripes NOVA Committee and then let us know you're coming. We hope to see you there!

At Ten Ten Life, we believe in the importance of giving back to the local community through Community Missions and supporting other organizations and nonprofits working to make a difference. It is one of our core program areas and deeply connected to our DNA as an organization. We see this as one way we can find greater personal healing and fullness by actively contributing to the health and healing of others.

From Trauma to Transformation: Impact Report 2024-25
We are proud to share highlights and milestones from our past year in the 2024-25 Impact Report. This year at Ten Ten Life, we expanded our programs to better serve and support our members as they embark on their healing journey. Our commitment to foster healing and wholeness for military members, veterans, and first responders continued this year as we strive to provide a deeper level of lasting care.

Across over 240 counseling and coaching sessions provided, we saw significant improvements in our clients' symptoms.
This year Ten Ten Life clients experienced:
⬇️ 42% reduction in anxiety
⬇️ 57.5% reduction in depression
⬆️ 85.4% improvement in the Domains of Post-Traumatic Growth. These domains include New Possibilities, Increased Personal Strength, Enhanced Relationships, Appreciation of Life, and Spiritual/Religious Growth

We are also thrilled to report that 100% of our clients no longer meet the clinical threshold for PTSD!

Looking ahead to next year, we are excited to connect and partner with more communities, churches, and organizations in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, and Virginia) to continue growing our reach and impact as we invite members to join us on the healing L.I.F.E. Journey through Individual Therapy, Group Intensive Retreats, and Community Missions, a comprehensive program founded on our core values of Love, Integration, Freedom, and Equipping
