🍉 The juiciest competition of the year is back! 🍉

The Summer Slice Showdown returns on August 3rd and the stakes are sweeter than ever. Artis Culinary teams will create dazzling displays of carved melon masterpieces to showcase their creativity and Artis spirit.

The prize? Delicious gourd-y glory and a set of fancy Lamson chef’s knives. And this year, winners will be announced in exciting categories:

The Women’s Club at Great Falls Memory Care by Artis meets monthly.

Some of the events they host include high tea, the red & purple hat societies and spa day!

However, this month, they celebrated themselves with a glamorous photo shoot.

Here is to sisterhood and lasting friendships.

Great Falls Memory Care by Artis had an outing to Arts Herndon Museum & Gallery.

Jo Ornesher was a such a gracious hostess. In great detail and love Jo explained the exhibits to the residents.

She even offered delicious refreshments to include pomegranate flavored water and donuts.

We also added to their mini gallery by taking a few masterpieces painted by Great Falls Memory Care by Artis residents to showcase to the Town of Herndon.

Residents and families enjoyed Karaoke with Teresa, a fan favorite, this afternoon at Great Falls Memory Care by Artis.

Teresa helped to celebrate a special birthday today at the community.

Teresa’s karaoke playlist included songs from Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt and the best of the 1950s and 1960s! Music & artists loved and adored by our birthday celebrant made this birthday extra special!
