My focus is on relieving chronic and acute health issues using Body Code energy work and massage occasionally. I believe both are necessary for inner health.

Fibromyalgia, Lyme, auto immune “diseases”, reproductive issues, etc can be treated energetically. I was trained at BOD-E-Work School of Massage Therapy in Atascadero, CA. My school was Eastern in influence, for which I am grateful. It taught me a whole concept of health; mind-body-spirit. My massage techniques include a variety of modalities to include the mind-body-spirit concept. I am very interested in addressing one's qi as well as nutrition. I am capable of massage for relaxation with gentle pressure and also focused problem solving massage with deep pressure. My work alleviates chronic issues, joint issues, some arthritis, injuries, and athletic injuries. I can also correct problems associated with surgeries and scarring. I believe daily exercise and good nutrition are vital.

Anyone struggling with frequent headaches, migraines, cluster headaches, etc.? I used to have terrible headaches, always the same pain pattern or location. They began after I fell on my head at age 5. As I got older they became a lot more frequent and more intense. Pain meds didn’t work, ever. Nothing did until I learned Body Code energy work. Now I rarely ever get any type of head pain. Reach out if you’re tied if the pain. Energy work works!

Tummy issues after big family events? Diarrhea and or constipation? Energy work is brilliant for getting to the root cause of GI issues, whether it’s pain, gas, bloating , burping, heartburn, being unable to fully eliminate every morning, etc.. Our gut is very sensitive to emotions. Family time can blow up our natural rhythms. Traditional Chinese Medecine refers to the gut as our second brain (small and large intestines). Acupuncture meridians and chakras are involved with digestion too. Reach out if you’re tired of medications to help with gut dysfunction. Or just tired of things not functioning appropriately.

How many of us feel badly around a certain person? No matter how kind they are to us. This can be inferiority, usually set up from childhood junk. It is based in the past and is a negative program we subconsciously run, sadly. Reach out if this is something you struggle with. It can be easily left in the past, where it began. Just a phone calls for energy sessions and you’ll feel on equal footing with this person or people

Most of us have been injured at some point. Even with what feels like a full recovery we can notice years later issues that may seem unrelated. Our bodies move differently than they did before. Gait imbalances, possibly incontinence, pain issues, etc. can happen as a result of the original injury. Using energy work, massage and some other tools I am able to get rid of the inappropriate muscle memory, show some new exercises to build back symmetry to the body and erase the pains. Most of us have had an injury in our lifetime. Whether it was significant or minor it can have an effect on our gait. And even without an injury our postural alignment can slide out of appropriate form over time from repetitive motions, only moving in the same plane, etc.. This can create joint misalignment, pain, inappropriate gait. If you have a nagging issue (can also be from seemingly nothing) reach out before it gets worse. I focus on corrective work using massage, energy work and some corrective exercises to get the body back into appropriate alignment.

Wake up with a pain in your neck thinking “I slept wrong “? This can be true but also it can be that an energy or a trapped emotion from a few days before is stuck somewhere. It could be in the Throat chakra, thyroid, esophagus, etc.. These are the obvious places one can imagine something upsetting getting stuck when we don’t say what we want to say. It can be stuck somewhere else too, in a different place of the body. The point is emotions and energies can create pain. Over time these can set up as chronic issues. When the pains don’t work themselves out immediately and you find yourself ruminating over the same or similar mental issues, reach out so we can get you back on track, eliminating the mental loops. The holidays are coming up. Wouldn’t it be nice to be rid of the same thought patterns, the same irritations with family and or friends?

The holidays are coming up! How many of us would love to feel less charged, less annoyed, (even kinder) around family? Family dynamics is a beast unto itself. Energy work can neutralize how we feel about others that we struggle with. Reach out if you’re tired of the same old. All it involves is a phone conversation about the offender(s). We can’t change others but we can definitely change how we feel about them, which empowers us and sheds the old dynamic.

It’s National Massage Week! There are so many benefits to receiving a massage. Most folks know many of them but when you receive from a practitioner that gives energy work during a massage the benefits are much greater. Organs and glands become happy, spiritual misalignments can clear, one can have another supportive relationship in your circle, postural misalignments can be corrected, etc.. Did you know that pain in the neck can be largely emotional? Obviously it can happen from sleeping too long in one position or whatever but it’s still emotionally based. Our emotions dictate how our body functions. This is on a frequency and vibrational level. So whatever we’ve gone to bed with from the day emotionally is still there and will manifest physically in some way. This can create pain. It can make us clench and grind our teeth. It can also create organ, gland and hormonal dysfunction. It disrupts our sleep and bodily functions. Any dog/cat owners ever see a limp happen without having seen an injury happen? Often times this can be emotional. But under the emotional issue lies an imbalance that could be unrelated to the muscles, skeleton, tendons, ligaments or fascia, basically the obvious points to look at with a limp. The types of energy work I practice find the root cause of the issue. We remove it, balance the system and your pet can heal itself. Sometimes n just one or two sessions. A session is a phone call with a picture of your pet and some background health history. It’s easy, no hassle getting them into the car or a carrier and no added stress of going to the vet. I speak with the animal to find out what’s causing the issue and we resolve it

Sometimes receiving a massage, chiropractic adjustment, acupuncture treatment isn’t enough to eliminate our pain. Sometimes we need to do corrective exercises to support our bodies. Often times without an injury our bodies slide out of alignment from life, sitting too much, repetitive motions, etc.. My massage includes energy work to find emotional correlations to pain. I look at posture and body language. And often can recommend exercises to bring the body back into balance. When we get involved in our own healing a lot of information can arise thereby promoting a quicker recovery. We can see how the pain messages relate to life. The exercises I speak of are easy and fun, often only requiring a few minutes a day. Our bodies are used to moving in only a few planes, not 3D for our spine. People in their twenties and thirties are in the thick of their career building. For some the stress of newer mortgages, their jobs, managing relationships, marriages, raising kids, etc. can make life overwhelming. A lot has changed at this stage of life. For some less social activities, less physical activities and less self time. Body code energy work and massage can be a life changing benefit to make it through each week by releasing stress hormones, finding or maintaining goals and purpose, bringing joy and better health, sleep, etc. back into life.
