Simply Enough

Simply Enough I help empty nesters and working professional women declutter and get organized. amy@simplyenough.net It is about challenging you to live differently.

Simply Enough is about more than just helping you to declutter and organize your home. To own less and live more. I desire to own less so I can focus on the relationships that are most important to me. I desire to own less so that I can follow my passions, give more of myself and use the gifts God has given me. I hope to show others that living a simpler life will not deprive you of anything but instead means having so much more joy in your life. It’s Simply Enough.

When you bring down the volume, something beautiful happens:
📦 Spaces start to organize themselves.

No fancy bins required.
You’re left with what you actually use, want, and need—

And suddenly, systems are easier to build.
Easier to follow. Easier to keep.

If a space in your home isn’t working, it’s not you.
It’s the system (or the stuff).

Let’s fix that.

When decluttering feels hard…
When progress feels invisible…

💡 Come back to your why.

Your “why” is what keeps you going when the work gets real.

It’s what turns a task into something meaningful.
It’s the reason behind the release.

So—what’s your why?

Drop it in the comments. I’d love to cheer you on. 💬

Your “just in case” might be someone else’s “just in time.”

Letting go doesn’t just free your space — it can give someone else the dignity and joy of putting that item to good use today.

A shelf with one or two meaningful items can create more peace than a dozen.

Why?

Because it’s not about the stuff.

It’s about the space it gives you—to breathe, to rest, to be with the people you love.

I declutter so I can say yes to brunch with my family.

To walks, to church, to generosity, to exercise.

I do this work because of what matters most.

And I think that’s why you’re here, too.

It’s not “just stuff.”

The mess you see is also the stress you feel — and for many women, it’s more than just frustrating… it’s exhausting. Clearing space isn’t just about tidiness.

It’s about well-being.

If you only own 6 forks…
You’ll only ever have to wash 6 forks. 🍴

Same goes for t-shirts. 👕
Less stuff = less laundry. Every time.

The more we own, the more we manage.
And the truth is, most of us don’t need more. We need less to keep up with.

What could you own less of right now?

08/15/2025

Stand in front of your closet and ask yourself:
🧥 What would feel better here?
💭 What percentage of this could I let go of?
✨ What would 50% less actually feel like?

For most of my clients, the answer is: lighter. Calmer. Clearer.

You don’t need a new organizing system.
You need less stuff.

Start with 25%. See how it feels.

Want change at home? Go first.

When we model the habits we hope to see, we invite others to join us — without a single “you should” required.

Ever wonder why some spaces just feel peaceful?

It’s not the bins.
It’s not the baskets.

It’s the margin. The empty space. The room to breathe.
Just like a page needs white space to be readable, your home needs white space to be organized.

Margin is what makes a room calm—not full containers, just less stuff.

Let this be your reminder: you don’t need more storage.
You need more space.

🧘‍♀️ Own less. Live more.

We see everyone else’s clutter before our own.
But when it comes to creating peace at home, the real shift happens when we start with our own stuff.

In my conversation with The Extraordinary Marriage Podcast, we talk about:
✨ Why clutter affects women differently than men (and what the science says)
✨ How to use shared goals to work through differences with a partner
✨ Why the way we ask for help matters just as much as the help itself
✨ The surprising reason “less” laundry is the answer to laundry overwhelm

If you’ve ever felt frustrated by someone else’s mess or wondered why your spouse doesn’t see what you see — this episode is for you.

Decluttering can feel overwhelming—until you give every item a place to land.

Before you begin, set up your workspace with 4 essential piles:
🧺 Keep
📦 Donate
🗑️ Trash
↪️ Relocate (hello, laundry basket!)

Having clear containers for each category reduces decision fatigue and keeps the process moving. Don’t skip this step—it’s what turns chaos into clarity.

💬 What’s your go-to container when you’re sorting?
