Someone down by East St Louis has been posting bad things on my webpages. Then today I get a call from a company wanting to help me fix this for a fee. I swear the hucksters and charlatans on the web. I hope I’m not unfeeling and unresponsive and hate seniors. Haha.

Dad wrote this brief history in 1986 when I purchased the funeral home. Things were different in his Dad’s day. We don’t embalm in the deceased home anymore, or stay with a family in the country for days until the service is completed. I’m glad for that! I do abhor the industrialization and consolidation of what was once a very necessary personal service, rendered by a families you know.
