Miss Herriman Scholarship Competition

Miss Oquirrh Mountain is a local affiliate of the Miss America Organization Competing is an opportunity to enrich your life, and further your educational goals.

The Miss Salt Lake County organization is a local affiliate of the Miss America Organization, the largest scholarship provider for young women, and a preliminary competition for the Miss Utah Scholarship Pageant. The program seeks to provide personal and professional growth opportunities to young women, and gives them a voice in politics, culture, and their communities. It provides a forum for young women to showcase their talents, and work with service oriented groups they are passionate about. Young women aged 18-27 are eligible to compete in the Miss Miss Salt Lake County Organization competition as long as they live, work, or go to school in the state of Utah. Our current titles are Miss Salt Lake County, & Miss Oquirrh Mountain. To be eligible a woman must be...
A US citizen
A single female between the ages of 18-27 years
Living, working, or going to school in the city of Herriman
Has never been married
Has never been pregnant or the legal guardian of a child
Has never been convicted of any crime; no pending criminal charges; has never been engaged in any activity which is or could be characterized as dishonest, immoral, immodest, indecent or in bad taste

Interview, 30%
Talent Presentation (90 seconds), 20%
Evening Gown, 20%
Health & Fitness, 20%
On-Stage Question/Community Service Initiative , 10%

It was so much fun judging this Christmas pageant for beehive beauties! Such an amazing group of girls and so happy we got to support another local pageant!
We have beauties is for girls 0 to 17 and is a no make up pageant system!
I love being able to volunteer for opportunities like this! It’s a great way to give back to the pageant systems in the state of Utah. Most pageants are run by volunteers and I am always happy to volunteer my time to support girls and women in my communities!

18 days until Christmas and how lucky am I that I got to help get the children at the firefly community excited!

This is kicking off my December Series, weekends of service because when you have a job sometimes it’s hard to find the time for service but weekends are a great opportunity to get out into your community and give back to the people who have helped us.

I had so much fun volunteering at the Festival of Trees seeing all the amazing trees, quilts, wreaths, gingerbread houses and so much more! It was an amazing experience with such a fun executive board. This event is going on until Saturday so make sure to go check it out!

I had so much fun with my Sister Queens in my hometown of Tooele at their Christmas Parade! It was so much fun to be around the Tooele City Royalty and I want to thank Tooele City for letting use be there!

I had so much fun hosting my interview skills workshop! Big thank you to Bluffdale City for letting me use their space and another big thank you to everyone who came! I’m so excited to continue sharing my knowledge with students through Utah!

I had such a fun opportunity to return to my alma mater as a judge for the Engineers Without Boarders USA Mountain Region student poster contest!

Engineering has been my dream since high school. Throughout my journey there have been long nights studying, moments of doubt, and so many little victories along the way. Achieving it showed me that I’m stronger than I ever realized. I want to be the role model I needed at 16, someone showing younger girls that they can build their futures in any field, even those that feel intimidating. Keep going. Your hard work will take you farther than you imagine.
