Had the best time with FBLA at Timpanogos High School talking all things resumes and interview skills!

Your resume tells your story. Your interview shows your character. Watching these students lean in, ask questions, and take notes reminded me why mentorship matters so much.

The future is bright.

Stand Out Sunday Let’s talk power verbs! 💥

Your resume isn’t just a list of what you’ve done it’s your chance to tell your story with confidence and impact. That’s where power verbs come in. Words like led, created, managed, achieved, and collaborated show initiative, leadership, and results, rather than just responsibilities.

Swapping “responsible for” with strong action verbs can be the difference between blending in and standing out. Your experiences are powerful make sure your words are too!

✨ Pro tip: Every bullet on your resume should start with a power verb.
Stay tuned for more Stand Out Sunday resume tips!

I had the opportunity to learn more about heart health and the disparities that exist between men’s and women’s research. Thank you to Intermountain Health for hosting such an impactful and educational experience.

Conversations like these remind me how powerful awareness truly is.

So grateful to have been invited to attend the Journey for your Heart event with Intermountain Health alongside other amazing queens 🤍 It was such a special opportunity to celebrate heart health during February, National Heart Health Awareness Month.

I loved getting to connect with our community, learn more about ways to care for our hearts, and support a cause that impacts so many families. Here’s your reminder to move your body, fuel it well, and take care of the one heart that carries you through it all ❤️

February is National ♥️Heart♥️ Health Awareness Month, and I’m so excited to shine a little extra love on our hearts this month! Our hearts work nonstop for us every single day, so it’s worth celebrating them and taking care of them too! Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S., with a heart attack occurring every 40 seconds. Those numbers are big, but they’re also a reminder that awareness, healthy habits, and prevention really do matter!

I’m so grateful to advocate for healthy hearts. As part of my advocacy I am raising funds this month to support more research, awareness, and support for heart health, if you’d like to join me, you can donate here: http://spot.fund/j73n6rpsc, the link is also in my bio, and every bit truly helps! Let’s move our bodies, check in with ourselves, and take care of our hearts together.
