International Pageant Day feels extra special this year 🤍

What started as something I was curious about has turned into one of the most defining parts of my life. Pageantry has pushed me outside my comfort zone, taught me how to use my voice with purpose, and introduced me to some of the most inspiring, driven women I know.

It hasn’t always been easy there have been long days, moments of doubt, and a lot of growth behind the scenes but every step has shaped me into the person I’m becoming.

As I step into this next chapter of life, I’m so grateful for the confidence, discipline, and passion this journey has given me. And I know this is only the beginning.

Here’s to growth, impact, and becoming the best version of ourselves on and off the stage. ✨

I had the best time at the Guns to Gardens event with .ut Hearing her speak about the personal impact behind her advocacy was so powerful and inspiring. I walked away learning so much and feeling even more grateful for opportunities like this to connect, grow, and spend time outside with my community.

You nailed the interview… now what?

What you do after an interview can be just as important as the interview itself. Sending a thoughtful thank you email, reflecting on your responses, and following up professionally can leave a lasting impression and show employers that you are proactive and prepared.

Interviews are more than a single conversation they’re part of building relationships and showing your professionalism every step of the way.

Remember: confidence doesn’t end when the interview does. Continue pursuing opportunities and trusting the value you bring to the table.

What’s something you’ve always wondered about the interview process? Let me know below and I might feature it in a future Stand Out Sunday 👇

Women 4 STEM 💡👩‍🔬

This weekend I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Women 4 STEM Conference, surrounded by brilliant women who are shaping the future of science, technology, engineering, and math.

While women make up over 50% of the U.S. population, they still hold only about 26-27% of STEM jobs in the United States. In fields like engineering, women represent around 15% of the workforce, and only about 35% of tech jobs are held by women.

But progress is happening. Women now earn about 36% of STEM bachelor’s degrees, showing that more young women are entering these fields than ever before.

Supporting women in STEM starts with:
✨ Encouraging girls to explore science and technology early
✨ Mentoring and uplifting other women in these spaces
✨ Creating opportunities, internships, and scholarships
✨ Celebrating the achievements of women breaking barriers

Innovation thrives when diverse voices are at the table. Let’s continue to empower the next generation of women who will design, discover, and lead the future. 💙

Interviews can feel intimidating, but preparation is the key to confidence. This week’s Stand Out Sunday is all about commonly asked interview questions and how you can respond in a way that truly helps you stand out.

Questions like “Tell me about yourself,” “What are your strengths and weaknesses?” and “Why do you want this job?” are more than just small talk—they’re opportunities to highlight your experiences, values, and goals. When you prepare thoughtful answers ahead of time, you walk into the interview ready to tell your story with clarity and confidence.

Remember: the goal isn’t to have a perfect script, but to show who you are, what you’ve learned, and how you can contribute.

What interview question always makes you nervous? Drop it below and I might cover it in a future Stand Out Sunday 👇

Empowered women empower innovation. ✨

So inspired after attending the Women 4 STEM Conference and hearing from incredible leaders who are breaking barriers and redefining what’s possible in science, technology, engineering, and math. From groundbreaking ideas to powerful stories of resilience, this space reminded me how important it is to keep encouraging the next generation of girls to pursue their passions in STEM.

The future is bright. 💡🔬👩‍💻
