Love is in the Air at Integrity Healthcare of Herrin! 💕
Our Valentine’s Day celebration proved that you’re never too old (or too cool) to celebrate love and friendship!
Yesterday’s festivities kicked off with a spectacular balloon drop that had everyone looking up in anticipation. When those red, pink, and white balloons cascaded down, you would’ve thought confetti cannons had gone off at a royal wedding! Residents and staff alike scrambled to catch their favorites—competitive spirit knows no age limit!
Our refreshment table was a sight to behold, featuring beautifully decorated cupcakes, creative marshmallow skewers dipped in chocolate, an array of homemade cookies, and plenty of punch to keep everyone refreshed. Let’s just say the marshmallow skewers disappeared faster than you can say “Cupid”!
The afternoon dance brought out some serious moves! From slow swaying to classic love songs to some surprisingly energetic footwork during the upbeat numbers, our dance floor was the place to be. Romance may have brought people together, but the music kept them there!
The crowning moment of the day? Our King and Queen of Hearts ceremony! After much fanfare and a few drum rolls (courtesy of our activity director on a decorated box), we crowned our Valentine’s royalty. Their Majesties graciously accepted their crowns and scepters, waving to their adoring subjects with the perfect mix of dignity and good humor.
A huge thank you to our incredible staff who decorated, organized, and participated with such enthusiasm. Your love for what you do (and who you care for) shows every single day.
