These incredible kiddos chose to spend their day off from school serving others, setting up a lemonade stand and delivering a fresh cup right to each resident’s door.

The smiles, conversations, and simple act of kindness meant more than they know. Watching young hearts intentionally pour love into our residents is something truly special.

We are beyond proud of them and so grateful to be part of a community that shows up for our Villas family in such meaningful ways. Kindness like this makes all the difference.

What a magical afternoon at our Villas Prom!

Residents enjoyed sweet treats, great company, and live music from the Vern & Vern Band before we crowned our 2026 Villas Prom King & Queen.

Congratulations to Randy and Trudy! We are so proud to have them represent the Villas — and we can’t wait to see them in the Herscher Labor Day Parade this fall!

Our residents enjoyed all the classic game-day snacks thanks to our amazing dietary team (they truly scored big!), and we surprised everyone with a special visit from members of the Herscher High School Student Council!

The Herscher Hustlers 4-H generously donated handmade wreaths for each of our residents to decorate their doors — and now our halls are filled with color, creativity, and smiling faces!

Every door is beautifully decorated, and we’re sharing just a few of them here. Thank you, Herscher Hustlers 4-H, for spreading so much joy at the Villas!

Our Mardi Gras celebration was full of festive treats and a New Orleans–inspired lunch thanks to our wonderful dietary team. What a fun way to celebrate Fat Tuesday together!

Our hearts (and stomachs!) were full this Valentine’s Day! Residents enjoyed a special breakfast-for-lunch, refreshing punch, and strawberry shortcakes to end the day on a sweet note. We’re so grateful for moments like these spent together as a Villas family.

Thank you to the Herscher High School Girls Basketball Team for spending their Saturday morning playing bingo with the tenants. They are a wonderful group of girls and it was very thoughtful of them to volunteer their time to be with us. Our tenants enjoyed every moment. We wish them all the luck in their season.

It was a fun and fabulous Friday.

Today for lunch everyone enjoyed salad bar day which was back by popular demand. The tenants requested it because it is their favorite. This afternoon we celebrated our January birthdays with delicious sweets and great company. It was the perfect way to wrap up the week at the Villas at Herscher.

Thank you to Heather from the Limestone Township Public Library for hosting a barn quilt painting class for our tenants. Every quilt design turned out unique and beautiful. The library offers so many wonderful community events and during the winter months it can be challenging for us to get out, so they brought the fun to us. If you have not had the chance yet, be sure to check out everything the library has to offer. You will be amazed.
